In the case of rapper Meek Mill, Judge Genece Brinkley will continue to preside, at least for now.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court denied a motion to have her removed from the case, but did give Meek’s team instructions to seek an appeal with the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Even though the Supreme Court rejected Meek’s request, now his lawyers can present reasons why Brinkley should be removed from the case.
If they get a ruling they don’t like, they’ll have to go back to the Supreme Court to make their case.
