A Grand Jury has indicted Kodak Black on charges that Kodak raped a teenager after a concert in 2016.

Back in April, the jury handed down the indictment for felony criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, nearly a year after police in Florence, South Carolina first arrested Kodak Black, Twelfth Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements told BOSSIP.

The alleged teenage victim told police that he attacked her at a local Comfort Inn & Suites, biting her neck and breasts during the alleged assault.

Kodak faces up to 35 years in prison, if convicted.. He has remained out on $100,000 bail.

Kodak Black’s attorney, Beattie Ashmore, told BOSSIP he was well aware of the indictment and characterized it as simply part of the judicial process.

No trial date has been set yet.
