MTV’s Hit Show “TRL” is Making a Comeback

Remember when watching videos was so easy because, you could simply turn to MTV or BET to watch them at a certain time? It was so much easier to keep up with what is going.

TRL had a great ten-year run on MTV but, ended after ratings of the show dropped. Despite the drop in ratings, MTV is seeking revival of the show. When asked by the New York Times about studio space MTV President Chris McCarthy stated that “If we’re going to come back and reinvent MTV, the studio is a given.” McCarthy continued stating, “It is the centerpiece.”

The show will broadcast live from Times Square and will feature five co-hosts. The date isn’t set but, McCarthy says to look out for TRL to launch in October.
