More big tunes on this Tuesday, first we get the visuals for “DNA“, now we get the collab the streets have been waiting for as Freeway and Dave East link up on this new banger “Hold The Fort Down“.
Freeway spoke with Billboard about the record and his upcoming project:
The cut is a part of the second installment of Freeway’s Fear Of A Free Planetmixtape series (with creative brand Compound) coming in May, where the politically striking visuals from art house Urban Medium are equally as potent as the songs within the project.
“Fear Of A Free Planet 2 is basically about what’s going on in the climate of the world right now — from the streets to the politics,” Freeway adds. “I just wanted to feed my fans before my first official Roc Nation release.”
