Legendary comedian John Witherspoon reveals the source of inspiration for that famous “Bang Bang Bang” scene with him and Eddie Murphy from the 1992 film “Boomerang.” He recalls with laughter how he went to the wardrobe department and picked out the outfit that the scene revolved around. John also explains which of his iconic lines (or “Spoonisms,” as they are called) people quote the most when they see him out and about.

He talks about why he still does stand-up regularly, and reveals which of his roles was his favorite. Plus, he explains why the studio that could be behind the fourth and final “Friday” movie would be crazy not to put up the money to make the highly-anticipated film. Check out the exclusive video above to hear more in this clip from the “Ed Lover Show.”
