Spliff Star, Busta Rhyme‘s right-hand man and possibly hip-hop’s greatest hypeman, has been in the music industry for 23 years. He chats with his longtime friend Ed Lover about his long career, and how his friendship with Busta started it all at a young age. He talks about performing nowadays and noticing the differences between his own show and the performances of some of hip-hop’s newer artists, stating; “I mean, that’s 80% of the game that needs to get their ish together.”

He talks about how he and Busta Rhymes met, and how their friendship changed his life “God gave me a good friend,” Spliff says, reminiscing about how he went from running the game in the streets to joining forces with his best friend to bring their music careers to newer heights. He recalls the exact day that he decided that life working in the streets wasn’t as good as a career in music.
