As our communities come together to fight for change and the end of police brutality, especially against Black men, celebrities are attempting to do their part as well.

Last night, over 100 entertainers, activists, and policymakers held a private meeting and discussed the issues at hand, as well as how to solve them moving forward.

The Game and Terrence J both shared photos and videos from the gathering, and from what we could see, some pretty big names were in attendance, including the highly woke Jesse Williams, Boris Kodjoe, and others.

In a message that went along with one video, The Game wrote:

Tonite a meeting was held. A meeting of African American celebrities at a private location & things were discussed….. Everyone shared their objectives, opinions & views on political, non-political & everyday issues that have plagued us as a people for hundreds of years…… Well, this time we’re collectively taking a different approach at burying these problems once & for all. This is a fight for everyone….. Not just blacks, but everyone….

Their meeting comes just after several Radio One stations held a Town Hall in Atlanta with the likes of Tyrese Gibson, Dr. Bernice King, the Atlanta Police Department’s Assistant Chief, and even Jeezy.

President Obama also had a meeting with activists and law enforcement at the White House on Wednesday. The group held a round table discussion about racial tensions, policing, and injustice.

The time for change is now.
