The RushCard chaos of 2015 that left 130,000 RushCard holders from using or depositing funds has been one of Russell Simmons biggest business fails; aside from being locked out of their accounts, people also reported missing money and direct deposits not being placed, a glitch in that Simmons said was a “technology transition.”
Now months after RushCard holders learned that technology can turn on you at the drop of a dime, a settlement has been reached that will result in a $20.5 million reimbursement.
