Gene Simmons has come under fire a few times this year for speaking a bit quicker than his brain was thinking, evidently. But most recently, he came under fire for his comments about the death of Prince. That’s right- he had the nerve to say something about the tragic and untimely passing of a legendary artist that literally no one can found anything negative to say about after his death, which is quite a rare thing these days.

Simmons, who was the frontman for the legendary rock band KISS, compared Prince’s death to David Bowie‘s, trivializing it and sparking mass outrage in the process. He did come to his sense, however, and issue a public apology.
