A North Carolina interstate had to close down for a few hours after a truck spilled tens of thousands of pounds of potatoes onto the road.

According to reports, the driver told state troopers that he had fallen asleep at the wheel. The truck was destroyed in the crash and fuel spilled onto the interstate and most of the potatoes.
