After two months after the initial release of Kanye West’s The Life of PabloWest has his seventh No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

Pablo officially hit streaming services on April 1st, despite being available on TIDAL since February 13th. The album sold 94,000 equivalent album units the week ending April 7, with 28,000 of those being pure album sales. That second number seems to come from the digital copies sold directly on Kanye’s website.

Despite Kanye being wrong about his album “never” coming to Apple, it’s yet to grace iTunes, so the only place you can officially download it is at KanyeWest.com for $20 a pop.

The album’s No. 1 placement also makes history as the first LP to hit the Billboard landmark with a majority of streams. 70% of the units came from streaming services, with just over 99 million streams equating to roughly 66,000 SEA (or streaming equivalent albums) in the first week.

Kanye’s album beats the previous record of an LP hitting No. 1 with a majority of streams set by Rihanna just weeks ago. ANTI debuted at the top of the chart with 54,000 units, 31% of which were via streams.

Although physical copies of The Life of Pablo hasn’t been seen yet, Kanye says they were on the way. Def Jam has also stated that “in the months to come, Kanye will release new updates, new versions and new iterations of the album.”
