The Roots have been heading this festival since 2009, with the event bringing in hundreds of thousands of people each year.

Kenney spokeswoman said via email: “There are some new and exciting changes happening at Wawa Welcome America, and we look forward to announcing those at a press conference that will take place in the coming weeks.”

Not a great start to Kenney’s term with starting issues with The Roots in Philadelphia!
