First Lady Michelle Obama visits Austin today (March 16) for SXSW.
Today the FLOTUS will be part of the keynote panel including rapper Missy Elliott, songwriter phenom Diane Warren, and actress Sophia Bush. Queen Latifah will serve as moderator.
The women will detail their life experiences together and engage in “a dialogue on finding one’s passion, music, and the importance of girls’ education everywhere,” according to the event description.
The First Lady will also be spotlighting the Obama Administration initiative Let Girls Learn, which assists adolescent girls in completing their education across the globe. President Barack Obama recently hosted his keynote on March 11, poking fun at the Obamacare website and calling on the tech industry to tackle nation’s issues like climate change and health care.
