It’s no secret that Wiz Khalifa is a huge Max B fan, and he’s letting the whole world know that he’s not OK with Kanye West taking the wave.
Back in 2008, Max B, who’s currently serving 75 years in prison for armed robbery, felony murder, and kidnapping, created a movement around the term “wavy.” Since then, most rappers have shied away from appropriating the term for their own branding purposes – but not Yeezus.
Last night, Kanye caused chaos when he announced he was changing his album title from SWISH to Waves. Immediately, Wiz got on Twitter and let people know he’s not feeling Kanye’s last-minute switch:
