Bun B To Ed Lover: “We Teach Our Kids How To Dress For Holidays But Not How To Dress For Interviews”

Rapper Bun B called in to the Ed Lover Show to express his appreciation for Ed Lover and Monie contributing to the Hip Hop culture in radio.

He also discusses the reason why he is such an activist for influencing culture and how the elders and adults need to give our children greater examples to follow:

We are are a lot more comfortable with character building and creation than we like to admit…This world unfortunately doesnt allow that. We have to teach our children WHY they should make the right decisions… lead them in the right way so that they go out in the world ready make the right decisions on their own. We can’t just say, “do this cuz I said so..” We teach our kids how to dress for holidays, but we don’t teach them how to dress for interviews…

Bun is taking a break from teaching at Rice University this semester to focus on music for his fans.
