After over 30 years as one of hip-hop’s premier entertainers, the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Times), L.L. Cool J is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame today.

The M.C., who celebrates his 48 birthday today, is receiving the 2,571st star on the Walk of Fame in the Recording category they will take place on Hollywood Boulevard in front of Hollywood’s Hard Rock Cafe.

Guest speakers for the event include Queen Latifah and Sean “Puff Daddy aka Diddy” Combs.

LL first hit the scene in 1984 with the seminal hip hop anthem, “I Need A Beat” for the what would become the premier record label of Hip-Hop, Def Jam Recordings.

He’s become the first rap artist to garner 10 consecutive platinum-plus-selling albums and he’s successfully transitioned from hip-hop star to movie star, starring in movies such as “Deep Blue Sea,” “In To Deep,” and “Any Given Sunday.”

He now stars in the CBS primetime drama “NCIS: Los Angeles” were his performance on the the show has earned the M.C. a NAACP Award four years in a row for his role as Special Agent Sam Hanna.

Cool J currently produces and hosts the new hit show “Lip Sync Battle” on Spike TV, and is hosting the Grammy Awards for the four consecutive year.

Also receiving stars on the Walk of Fame are Actor-comedians Tracy Morgan and Kevin Hart in the 2016 ceremony.

LL Cool J’s Hollywood Walk of Fame dedication will exclusively be live-streamed on http://www.walkoffame.com.

Check out LL’s performance of his first big hit, “I Can’t Live Without My Radio” on the legendary music variety show, “Soul Train.”
