Jay Z and 50 Cent have a history of beef that dates back to 1999 through 2009 (slight disses during interviews and on tracks), but in between then in 2003, the two set aside their differences to team up for a Reebok commercial. Hov had just dropped a new pair of S. Carters, and 50 was gearing up for the release of his G-Unit sneakers.
Even though Jigga claimed the sneaker game in his old “Looking at My S Dots” freestyle – looking at them S Dots it’s about that time to do Michael Jordan numbers, the sneaker game is mine – 50 told Revolt last year that his sneakers outsold Jay’s 6-to-1.
