An NBA player takes a joy ride…. with someone else’s car.

Jeff Adrien‘s name will be more recognizable than it has been in his NBA career. Adrien, who averaged 4.6 points and 4.3 rebounds throughout his career, was arrested in Los Angeles for stealing a Mercedes from a valet stand, according to TMZ Sports.

Police stated that Adrien, 29, was waiting outside of a West Hollywood hotel before jacking a Mercedes.

He then decided to go on a six-hour joyride before returning it to the hotel. Someone figured out what happened and reported it to the authorities. The actual owner of the Mercedes got his car returned with minor damage and the smell of weed.

Adrien was arrested for grand theft auto and later left jail through a $25,000 bail.

He played for the Timberwolves just last year, and possibly no NBA team will take another chance at signing him after this drama.
