When I saw this trailer, I knew I wanted to see this movie.
Being a huge fan of the Rocky movie franchise, I thought this would be a great movie to see and according to reports Creed was a big hit with moviegoers.
The next installment in the Rocky films opened at #3 at the box office by raking in $42.6 million in its first five days. That total makes Creed the tenth-biggest Thanksgiving debut of all time.
Creed was also recieved well with the critics. It has a 92% rating (certified fresh) on Rotten Tomatoes and scored an 82 (universal acclaim) on Metacritic. There is even talk of Oscar buzz for the boxing flick.
Creed stars Michael B. Jordan as Apollo Creed’s son Adonis. The movie also features Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashād, Tony Bellew, Wood Harris, Graham McTavish, and Andre Ward.
