A PA state trooper has been hospitalized according to 6ABC after being shot in an altercation on I-676 in Center City Philadelphia.
It happened just before 10 a.m. this morning after a vehicle was being pursued by police. The car crashed into the rear of a school bus on the highway.
Gunfire was exchanged, with the trooper being hit with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
3 people are in custody, including alleged shooter.
Luckily, there were not students on board of the time of the crash. 1-676 is shutdown approaching the accident scene.
