The much anticipated album from De la Soul that hip hop fans funded through a Kickstarter page has a new release date.

In September, fans awaited to hear new material from the group and De La Soul member Posdnuos explained that negotiations for distribution and side artist clearances were the reason for the delay.

In this latest update, Pos states that this have all been cleared up and the album release plan is ready to go.

The Anonymous Nobody is now scheduled to be released on Apr. 29. Fans will get a taste of a new track called “Train Wreck” in December and the first single, “Pain” featuring Snoop Dogg, would arrive in February or March.

The new album will be De La Soul’s first official LP in over a decade as the group released the critically acclaimed The Grind Date back in 2004. Boom92Houston.com will update you on any news about De la Soul’s new album.
