Jay Z’s streaming service Tidal is gearing up to launch original drama and comedy series.  The service has announced it will be expanding its content mix from music to original scripted and unscripted programming.  Tidal has ordered two new series.  The first is a Brooklyn street-life drama “Money & Violence” season two, with new episodes set to premiere in January.  The second is “No Small Talk,” a series that profiles up-and-coming comedians.  The company’s senior Vice President Tim Riley said the move is a “natural next step” to enhance the service’s value to subscribers.
