The Eagles moved into first place in the NFC East with a 27-7 win over the Giants at Lincoln Financial Field on “Monday Night Football.” Philadelphia’s defense led the way with Nolan Carroll The Second returning an Eli Manning interception 17 yards for a score. They picked off Manning twice and sacked him three times. DeMarco Murray piled up 109 yards and a TD on 22 carries as the Eagles improved to 3-and-3. Manning connected with Odell Beckham Junior for a touchdown on New York’s first drive giving them a 7-0 lead. The Giants allowed the next 27 points on their way back to .500 and second place.
