Scarface is speaking up after being arrested following the recent taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. It all happened October 9th, when the rapper was taken behind bars on charges of unpaid child support, with bond set at 480-thousand-dollars. He was released Friday, and explains his charges are “resolved.” In a written statement, he thanked supporters “for their concern” and said he had no idea there was an arrest warrant out for him. Because there is “a minor child involved,” he will make no further comments. His next performance is scheduled in Dallas on November 21st.
