As we get set to see the first Democratic debate tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 13th) Pharrell already has chosen his candidate.
While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this morning, Pharrell announced his support for Hilary Clinton by saying, “I just fee like it’s Hillary time.”
“It’s time for a woman to be in there,” said the superstar artist to the woman-dominant crowd. “Women think about things in a holistic way, it’s not so individual. I’m saying I’m happy to be a man, but I love women. The thing is, if we had somebody looking after our country that thought about things as a whole, I just feel like it just would be different…People are like, ‘Okay, we need a president that we can play Scrabble and Celebrity with,’ but that’s not gonna solve our problems. You need someone that’s gonna take it [seriously].”
Pharrell isn’t the only major star backing Hilary.
Over the summer, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian showed their support while at a fundraiser in Los Angeles when the rapper, along with his wife, took a selfie with Clinton.
Kim posted the selfie on Twitter where the picture was retweeted over 10,000 times.
