According to TMZ, LAPD responded to a call of a body found dead. Cathriona White, the girlfriend of Hollywood star Jim Carrey, was identified by two friends who found her unconscious Monday night.
Police believe the suicide was caused by a drug overdose. Cathriona’s last tweet on Sept. 24th read, “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.” Sources say a note was left behind and addressed to Carrey, which referenced their breakup. Cathriona White began dating Jim Carrey in 2012.
Officials are releasing more information as this story continues to develop.
