Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says she’s opening up a new chapter in her career after having served as the mayor of Baltimore. The 45-year-old politician says she won’t be chasing after re-election, and instead will focus on improving her city that has been torn apart by police violence and racial inequality. A handful of Democrats including Former Mayor Sheila Dixon, state Senator Catherine Pugh, City Councilman Carl Stokes and Calvin Young, a graduate of NYU and Harvard, are currently on the ballot to take over the city’s leadership in the next election cycle.
