Police Respond to Shooting Report at Tennessee Theater, Suspect Dead

A man armed with a gun and a hatchet was killed Wednesday after a gun fight erupted with the law enforcement in a movie theater outside Nashville, Tennessee, according to NBC.

One person was injured by a “superficial wound” from the hatchet, and others treated for exposure to pepper spray that the attacker deployed said a fire spokesman.

According to NBC “Police rushed to the Carmike Hickory 8 theater in the suburb of Antioch after a report of a shooting, said Don Aaron, a police spokesman. An officer found the gunman in a theater where “Mad Max: Fury Road” was playing.”

After fire exchanged between the attacker and the officers, SWAT rushed in, and after another furry of gunfire, the suspect was reported dead at the scene, and no info about who they were or the motive behind the attack has been reported at this time. More info is to come from this, keep it locked.
