Yesterday Lil Wayne was removed off a private jet because he started smoking weed on the plane.
According to a report from TMZ, the Young Money CEO told the pilot that they wanted to smoke weed during the flight. The pilot informed Weezy that they couldn’t. However, minutes after the jet took off at a Ft. Lauderdale airport, the rapper lit up a joint.
The captain, who wasn’t backing down, turned the plane around 17 minutes after takeoff and landed it where it came from.
This isn’t Wayne’s first time having issues with private jet companies. In August 2014, Wayne was issued a lawsuit by the Signature Group for not paying back the rental fees for his airplanes travel. According to the Courthouse News Service, the Signature Group sued Wayne and Young Money in Miami-Dade County Court.
