Happy Birthday to Harlem rap veteran “Cam’ron” Giles turning 39 today.

Cam’ron recently stated that he is retiring from the rap game later on this year with his final album “Purple Haze 2”.   Earlier this, Cam released a statement via Instagram saying “Fresh off da flight.. To see my brother.. HUD 6 told me lastnite.. #AChangeGoneCome ..my last album.. #PurpleHaze2 this summer.. It’s been fun.. But HUD said we got other things to do. #Hud6,” #RipHud6

Cam’ron and his Dipset brothers have been creating quite a buzz lately, appearing on a New York radio station free-styling and throwing lyrical jabs at their long time rival Jay z. The group also put out a song featuring all 4 original members Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freaky Zeeky, called “Better Have My Money.”

Check out a classic song by the birthday boy below.
