Lena Dunham - Book Signing

Lena Dunham is blasting a conservative Website for misreporting her own words and accusing her of sexual abuse in the process.

The “Girls” star/creator went on Twitter to vehemently deny allegations from TruthRevolt.com that she violated her little sister. The statement was made in an article about her book “Not That Kind Of Girl,” where she wrote about an incident where she “spread open” her 1-year-old sister’s vagina to see if it looked like hers.

Although Lena was 7-years-old at the time, Truth Revolt initially claimed that she was 17 when it happened. The Website later corrected its error, but by that then the story had taken on a life of its own.

Eventually, Lena caught wind of the controversial report, and she had to speak up.

She went on to Tweet that her passage in the book was only meant to be an anecdote outlining just how unusual she was.

The actress said that she’d normally just ignore slights like this, but there was something about the accusation that she simply could not brush off. She believes that it was also a huge offense to victims that have survived molestation. “Usually this is stuff I can ignore but don’t demean sufferers, don’t twist my words, back the f*ck up bros,” she tweeted.

Lena may have been so furious she couldn’t see straight, but someone else in her family found the entire situation incredibly amusing!
