Cirque du Soleil TOTEM Premieres In Atlanta

Phaedra Parks is doing exactly what everyone expected her to and taking some serious steps to end her marriage to Apollo Nida.

From the moment that Apollo was sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud and identity theft, the public began running a clock on just exactly how long it would take Phaedra to pull the plug on their union. Well, we can now call it for three months almost exactly to the day.

Apollo was sentenced on July 8 and Phaedra’s rep told E! News today (October 10) that the Southern Belle “has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage.”

If Phaedra has any intention of standing by her man during his incarceration, he royally messed that up on the day he was supposed to have reported to prison. Instead of turning himself in to begin his sentence on time, Apollo took an extra day to confront Phaedra at her home—and you better believe that Bravo cameras were rolling to catch all of it.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” supertrailer showed that Apollo went on a rampage through the house as he demanded to know why she hadn’t been supporting him in the lead up to his latest prison sentence—and he also wondered why she hadn’t put any money on his books.

This situation is just sad all around, but we really feel bad for Phaedra and Apollo’s sons Dylan and Ayden.
