Get your anaconda’s ready, Nicki Minaj just confirmed that she will be host of the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards. Not only is she hosting the massive ceremony, she’s also performing! Yasss. Pops into a split and twerks.

Thanks to her Barbs, #NickiAnnouncement was trending earlier today. Nicki tweeted:

“So excited to announce that I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year’s MTV European Music Awards!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! The show will shoot in GLASGOW, SCOTLAND for its 20th Anniversary ON NOVEMBER 9th!!!! Find us @mtvema and Vote at mtvema.com,” she wrote on Instagram.

What better time for Nicki to helm the reigns of MTV’s big production now that she landed her first No. 1 in the UK for her collaboration with Jessie J and Ariane Grande on “Bang Bang.”
