Everybody should know by now that the streets in Chicago have been riddled with violence, especially in the last year. As a matter of fact Common and Kanye have lent their efforts to the community by joining their non profits for good. Common’s Common Ground Foundation and Kanye West’s Donda’s House (run by rapper Rhymefest and his wife), along with five other Chicago-based nonprofit groups aim to create 1,000 year-round jobs for Chicago youths as an answer to a January jobs report for the city that showed 92 percent of young black males there are jobless. Now that’s Dope! So is Common’s new song called, “The Kingdom”. Listen for yourself….
