I nearly lost it when I heard this news, not to mention The Boondocks returns next month after being gone for too damn long! So here are the details:
Set to air later this year, another series from McGruder, Black Jesus, has been given the green light by the good folks at Adult Swim. In an exclusive report from The Hollywood Reporter, Adult Swim will air the half-hour live action Black Jesus comedy, which will be set in the the mean streets of Compton, Calif. The news comes after the confirmed announcement that The Boondocks is returning to the network for a fourth season next month.
