It seems another case of stop and frisk gone terribly wrong. Darrin Manning, a 16-year-old high school basketball player suffered serious injuries to his genitals after being stopped and frisked by a Philadelphia police officer. The Mathematics, Civics and Charter School sophomore was on his way to play a high school basketball game when Police approached him and his teammates. It is still unclear as to why the boys were stopped, but Manning was soon put in handcuffs. According to Manning a female officer then reached underneath his cuffed hands and queezed his genitals so hard-it ruptured his testicle.
“I think that was wrong, it was going overboard,” Manning said.
the incident is under investigation.
