The strongest earthquake that Haiti has seen since the 1700’s has rocked the island and may have affected up to 3 million people. The 7.0 magnitude quake destroyed the capital city of Port-au-Prince, leveling most of its buildings leaving turmoil as the sun went down Tuesday. At least 27 aftershocks shook the region, forcing survivors to seek shelter on streets lined with dead bodies.

Countries including Jordan, Brazil, and China have reported missing or dead aid workers, and the UN Headquarters was completely demolished.
