pa-man-chops-off-head-of-daughters-boyfriend

Charges of first degree murder have been filed against a Crawford County, PA man Richard Houy, who has been accused of murdering his daughters boyfriend by beheading him and leaving his headless body in a steel drum. Officials say Houy told them he dumped the body after the two men got into an altercation. Houy claims the man hit his head after he punched the victim.

Police believe the victim Gerald VanDyke  was shot with a hunting arrow before his head was dismembered by Houy with a chain saw.

Houy is being held without bail in the Crawford County jail.
