Born and raised in Philly, Temple graduate Terence “T-Nice” Williams got his start in radio as an intern for Radio One Philly. Impressed with his work ethic and dedication, they decided that rather than let T-Nice exit the building after his internship, they offered him his first radio job as a weekend board operator for the live broadcasts. Fast forward 6 years later, board operator, producer, now to aspiring on-air personality; T-Nice is still maintaining his love for radio and hip hop culture. You can catch him discussing the latest info about the entertainment and music industry right here on Philly’s Hottest Station for Hip Hop and RnB, the all-new Hot 107.9. @tnice215
And that’s exactly the dance music moguls Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are doing right now as they have secured a minority investor in their company Beats Electronics, which distributes the Beats headphones as well as other products. The Carlyle group, which is based out of DC is reportedly investing $500 million dollars for a minority stake in the company. This would bring the net worth of the company to just over $1 billion dollars. Dr. Dre is currently 3rd on the Forbes list this year for World’s Highest Paid Hip Hop Artists. Money, money, yea yea!!!
