So shout outs to my sista Jill who appeared recently on TV One’s, “Verses and Flow”. Not only is her spoken word piece amazing, she also performs one of my favorite songs (interludes), “Quick”. She also manage to re assemble a super star Philly band. If you look behind her check out Philly’s own Curt Chambers on the guitar (Eminem), Philly’s own Spanky on drums (Lady Gaga) and on bass Willingboro’s own Adam Blackstone (bass player and music director for folks like Jay Z, Justin, Adam Levine and many more). Well quick Philly music history fact. All those guys started together at the 5 Spot’s “Black Lily”.
