Kobe, Shaq, MJ, Bird and Magic have all done it so its only right that the 4-time NBA MVP follow suit and join the top-selling basketball video game franchise of all-time as the newest cover athlete for 2K Sports NBA 2K14. That’s right, Miami Heat NBA Superstar Lebron James is the latest cover athlete of the 2K Sports franchise and the announcement was made last night in a tv commercial during Game 1 of the 2013 NBA Finals. King James and his Miami Heat were facing off against the San Antonio Spurs. If you missed the commercial, check out the video below. NBA 2K14 is set to release October 1, 2013.
