Baylor’s Brittney Griner is rather shy in front of the camera, and especially right after being drafted number one by the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA draft. Griner can now take her shot blocking skills to a higher level.
“I’m ready to get there, I’m ready to just learn from her,” Griner told ESPN about playing with Taurasi. “I got to play with her a little bit with Team USA and I’m just ready to feed off her and give everything I can to the Phoenix Mercury.”
