Kevin Hart Talks ‘Secret Life of Pets 2’ and Robert F. Smith’s Morehouse Grant: “That’s How You Become A Groundbreaker and Really Shake Up The World” – written by @MsJennyb (📹 @adamglyn) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ahead of the June 7th release of “The Secret Life of Pets 2,” starring Patton Oswalt, Jenny Slate, Tiffany Haddish and #KevinHart, the “Irresponsible” comedian chopped it up with Baller Alert to discuss the highly anticipated sequel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The forthcoming animated adventure/comedy follows the story of Max as he copes with even more overwhelming life changes. After dealing with his owner’s new stray in the first film, Terrier Max, voiced by Oswalt, works through the pressure of protecting his owner’s son, Liam. Meanwhile, Snowball, voiced by Hart, struggles with fears of his own when Daisy, voiced by Haddish, summons him for a dangerous mission. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although Snowball believes he’s an actual superhero – thanks to his new wardrobe – he must now build up the courage to be the bunny he pretends to be. In fact, Snowball even opened up about his role in the forthcoming film, via Hart, saying, ”If you can just please acknowledge the fact that he’s a superhero, and he’s not the same version of himself that he was.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hart also opened up about the process and his love for working animated films. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I don’t think there’s anything better,” Hart said of voiceovers. “The fact that I got to come back and do it for the second time is huge. We had amazing success in “Secret Life of Pets” part one, so in part two, we can only hope and imagine to do the same thing.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I think the fact that it just relates to everybody,” Hart added of the film. “I think everybody can go see it. It’s not just for kids, it’s not just for families. It’s all people, and there is a great message in it.
