8 a.m.: Continued rain and sustained winds of 35 mph could cause power outages and damages throughout South Jersey where over two inches of rain will have fallen so far. Trees will likely begin to fall, low-lying areas will start to become impassible because of standing water and debris.
Noon.: Winds in the area will become more violent as they approach tropical storm-force speeds of 39 mph and above. Gusts could blow as hard as 50 mph. Residents in much of South Jersey and low-lying parts of the Philadelphia area such as Manayunk will need to be tuned to the TV, Internet, or radio in case emergency evacuations are ordered due to flooding from the increasingly intense rainfall and storm surge. Areas that usually flood during storms will begin to flood at this point.
2 p.m.: The strongest winds of the storm will begin to hit the area. Sustained highs could reach upwards of 45 mph with gusts of 70 mph. These winds will continue through Monday night and into Tuesday. Conditions outside will be extremely dangerous and local authorities will react by closing major bridges if deemed necessary.
