SEPTA’s Regional Rail is creating a new railroad safety system which will help riders get to their destination in faster time. Over the years, riders have always complained about the trains never being on time and how you’re unable to see where the train is.

SEPTA is upgrading the app that will update twice per minute and show riders where their train is and can also ask questions about the trains via Twitter.

A rider who commutes to Norristown says, “One thing I commend SEPTA on is their continued innovation including the SEPTA app that tells you real-time locations of buses and trains.”

New features on the app are expected to come soon and it’ll include a version that will customize the rider’s routes.
