Certain sayings stick with you throughout life, like a saying from a third grade teacher. Good, Better, Best, never take a rest until your good gets better and your better gets best.

The Philadelphia 76ers did more than just win game six of the Eastern Conference Semi-finals over the Boston Celtics last night, they showed all of us that even when they are not on their “A” game they can still pull out a “W” that’s the good news.

As fans of the team, we feel even better about the Sixers chances to win a game seven in Boston because of the small things they can do to dramatically affect the outcome of a game. For one, making foul shots. The Sixers went 17 of 28 from the free throw line in their 82-75 win over the Celtics.  The publics opinion on game seven would be in favor of the Sixers by far had the final score been 93-75 or even 93-78 provided the Celtics went 23-23 from the line instead of 20-23.

In the two days between game six and seven, which is scheduled for Saturday the Sixers have time to rest and refocus on putting together a complete game. We’ve seen them look good and even get better through out games but we have yet to see their best performance. Game seven of the Eastern Conference Semi-finals is the perfect stage for our beloved Sixers to show us there Best.
