Hurricane Irma tore through the northern Caribbean and could lead to a huge strike on Florida. It’s remaining at a category 5 storm and will possibly hit South Florida Sunday.

The storm hit the Dominican Republic and Haiti on Thursday morning and it has been flooding seriously after leaving nine dead across the Caribbean islands.

Irma has kept sustained winds of 180 mph and knocked out electricity a day earlier to more than 1 million customers in Puerto Rico.

Hurricane Irma is set to hit Florida by Sunday. “Regardless of which (Florida) coast you live on, be prepared to evacuate,” Florida Gov. Rick Scott said Thursday at a news conference in Hialeah.

We are praying for those in Florida, Puerto Rico and other areas. Please get to safety!
