“Girls Trip” starring Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah. Regina Hall and Tiffany Haddish hit $100 million at the box office, making it the first comedy of the year to do so.

The film was produced by Will Packer and directed by Malcolm D. Lee. The producer, Packer, wrote on his Instagram that crossing the $100 million mark is noteworthy because “Girls Trip” has become the first film produced, written, directed by and staring black people. What a great accomplishment!

How about some GOOD news?!?! 😉 Thank YOU for helping us make HISTORY!!!!
