Mase Owes IRS And another one hits the dust. Former Bad Boy rapper Mase (pictured) reportedly owes hundreds of thousands of dollars to the IRS, according to TMZ.

Mase, born Mason Durrell Betha, reportedly owes the IRS, who filed in Florida, $124,774.85 for three tax years: 2000, 2001, and 2004.

While Mase is yet to comment on his debt, Mase became Diddy‘s breakout new artist for Bad Boy, after the Notorious B.I.G. died in 1997. Debuting with 112‘s “Only You,” Mase gained solid traction as the next big rap artist as he continued to be featured in a slew of hits, including B.I.G.’s “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems” and Diddy’s “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down.”
