Nicki Minaj showed up to an album signing in London yesterday dressed like she sells girl scout cookies and ecstasy pills. The rapper is overseas promoting her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which is currently taking a harsh 70% drop in sales.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Nicki was asked why she decided to deactivate her Twitter account leaving 11 million “barbz” in pools of tears and false lashes. Here’s her explanation.
“A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that’s what I did,” she said on the show. “I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me.
“I reply all the time and get to know them by name and I have a really personal bond with them… not all 11 million, but at least 10 of them a day.”
When asked whether or not she will return to her tweeting fans, she said “I don’t know yet, I’m thinking about it. I miss my Barbz, please bear with me.”
